Peter Smyth Calls for More TASER Police in London
Peter Smyth, the vice chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents police officers, has made a video response to the announcement that the Metropolitan police authority have suspended plans to issue TASER weapons to non firearms police in London
In this response he states:
These guns are a less lethal option, they are a proper way of incapacitating dangerous and violent offenders and that would protect the public and Police officers from the risk of further harm.
