Anti-TASER T-Shirts
Well if the non-firearms police in the UK are going to arm themselves with electroshock TASER weapons what can I do about it?
How about wearing an anti-TASER T-shirt?

Taser saves lives thats why weve got it. My family deserve to know that I have everything I need to protect myself so I can come home safely to them and Taser means I dont have to risk injury to me or to the violent suspect Im dealing with.
There are strict rules governing its use and unless you threaten people with weapons or violence it wont be used on you.

Old Bill appears to claim to be a police officer, and has an IP address indicating he is from London.
I think that his assertion that a TASER does not risk injuring the person it is used on is ridiculous. As a counter example I point to this example of a Police officer injured by a TASER during training in the USA: http://www.financialpost.com/Story.html?id=108885
There are strict rules governing the use of TASERs, but in the UK its use is not limited to those threatening others with weapons or violence. The Chief Constable of North Wales police has said that it will be use against those who fail to comply with directions from the police.
Keeping TASER use limited to certain situations is something I support, I support TASERs being an option for firearms officers to use instead of guns, what I oppose is the arming of non-firearms police with TASERs. See - my letter to my MP
